Our Partnership with TED and DAS

We believe that everyone needs a role model to look up to in their lives. Listening to the success stories from people like you will impact the way our youth deal with the everyday situations and their insight into the future.

We have been working for the past year on this project, we have got a license from the organization TED from which will be an event entertaining various speakers who will talk about their success stories, technological advances and other various ideas to aspiring high school and college students. Thus, we would like to invite you to be a speaker at this event!

Objectives of the Event

Our main purpose was to inspire the Saudi Arabian youth to bring a change in their lives. We want to educate the community about the various ways that one can reach success. Likewise, we aimed to spread awareness about the actual reality of how the future is shaping up.

Empowering the Generations to Come

TEDxDAS will be focused on young individuals. In addtion, the speakers will share their life experiences and the turning points that changed their lives and a few different topics as well.

The event has taken place in Dhahran Ahliyya School’s (DAS) auditorium. The auditorium can hold over 150 people, and it holds a big stage where the speakers will be giving their talks from. Furthermore, the auditorium has stage lights and effects, as well as microphones and speakers to enhance and amplify the experience for the speakers and the audience.

What does our CEO thinks?

I've been looking at so many TED talks and thinking to myself: Wow, these talks are really inspirational and intuitive. I wish I could organize a TED talk one day." Seeing how these speakers help people in desperate positions as they change these people's lives made me want to do the same for my community and those around me that I love because I feel like everyone deserves the opportunity to attend a TEDx talk and get enlightened even more than I did.

In summation, a team is the most important tool for a successful event. They will be expediting the whole event. Considering and maintaining logistics of the event in which we as organizers will have an action plan divided into weeks and we will do our best to achieve it, like getting speakers, preparing venue and also building a social media status for the event.
